WORKSHOP BOOKING TERMS
The important stuff — without the legal waffle.
We want booking a She Thinks Different workshop to be simple and transparent. These terms explain what you're booking, how payments work, what happens if plans change, and what you can expect from us.
By purchasing a workshop, workshop series or masterclass from She Thinks Different, you agree to the terms below.
1. YOUR BOOKING
When you purchase a place, you are booking the workshop or programme shown at the time of purchase.
For our 12-week Workshop Series, your booking is for the full programme, rather than individual weekly sessions.
Your booking confirmation will show the cohort, dates, times and payment option you selected. Please check these carefully when booking.
Places are personal to the person named on the booking and should not be transferred to another person without contacting us first.
2. PAYMENT
The total price will always be shown before you complete your booking.
Where an instalment option is offered, this is simply a way of spreading the cost of the full programme. It is not a monthly membership or pay-as-you-go arrangement.
For example, where a £120 programme is available as three monthly payments of £40, you are purchasing the £120 programme and choosing to pay for it in three instalments.
Payments are processed securely through our website and payment provider.
If an automatic instalment payment fails, we may contact you to arrange payment.
3. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
When you book online, you may have a statutory right to cancel your contract within 14 days of the date you make your booking, without giving a reason.
If you would like to cancel during this period, please contact:
If you ask us to begin providing the service during your 14-day cancellation period, different rules may apply. Where applicable, you may be required to pay for services already provided before you told us you wished to cancel.
If the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period after you expressly requested that it begin and acknowledged the effect this has on your cancellation rights, your statutory right to cancel may end once the service has been fully performed.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
4. CANCELLING AFTER THE STATUTORY CANCELLATION PERIOD
Our Workshop Series are sold as complete programmes and spaces are reserved on that basis.
If you decide not to continue after any applicable statutory cancellation period has ended, please contact us as soon as possible.
Choosing not to attend the remaining sessions does not automatically cancel the contract or any outstanding instalments due for the programme.
However, we will always consider individual circumstances fairly, and nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies you have under consumer law.
5. IF YOU MISS A WORKSHOP
Life happens. Kids get ill. Work goes mental. Brains occasionally decide they're simply not participating today. We get it.
If you miss a live workshop, this does not normally entitle you to a partial refund.
Where additional materials, workbooks, recordings or alternative access are available, we'll let you know. We don't guarantee that every live workshop will be recorded, so please don't assume a recording will automatically be available.
6. IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL OR CHANGE SOMETHING
Occasionally, circumstances outside our control may mean we need to change a workshop date, time, facilitator or delivery arrangements.
If this happens, we'll give you as much notice as reasonably possible and will make reasonable efforts to rearrange the session or provide an appropriate alternative.
If we make a significant change that materially affects the service you purchased, we'll explain the options available to you.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
7. ONLINE WORKSHOPS
Our online workshops are normally delivered through Microsoft Teams, unless otherwise stated.
You'll need a suitable device and reliable internet connection to participate.
Joining instructions will be sent to the email address supplied when you booked, so please make sure your details are correct and check your junk/spam folder if something appears to be missing.
Please don't share workshop links, resources or access details with anyone who hasn't purchased a place.
8. WORKBOOKS & RESOURCES
Any workbooks, slides, exercises, handouts, downloads or other materials supplied as part of a She Thinks Different workshop are provided for your personal use only.
Please don't reproduce, sell, distribute, upload, teach from or share these materials publicly without our written permission.
9. GROUP SAFETY & RESPECT
We want our workshops and communities to feel safe, welcoming and genuinely useful.
Different experiences and opinions are welcome. Abusive, discriminatory, threatening, harassing or deliberately disruptive behaviour isn't.
Please also respect the privacy of other participants. Personal information or experiences shared by somebody else during a workshop or within our private community should not be shared outside that space.
Where someone's behaviour seriously affects the safety or experience of other participants, we reserve the right to take reasonable steps to protect the group, which may include removing them from a session or community. Any decision affecting paid access will be handled fairly and in accordance with your consumer rights.
10. THESE WORKSHOPS ARE EDUCATIONAL
She Thinks Different workshops provide psychoeducation, practical strategies and opportunities for discussion and reflection.
Participating in a workshop does not create an individual therapist-client relationship and the workshops are not a substitute for individual psychological therapy, medical care, diagnosis or emergency mental-health support.
If you need individual clinical or medical support, please contact an appropriate healthcare professional or service.
11. PRIVACY
We take your privacy seriously.
We use the personal information you provide when booking to administer your purchase and deliver the programme, including sending workshop information, joining instructions, workbooks and other relevant programme resources.
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy.
She Thinks Different is registered as a trading name with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZB692697.
You can find full information about how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information in our Privacy Policy.

We'll aim to resolve any problems fairly and reasonably.
